Description
Point Dume in Malibu,
the west end of the Santa Monica Fault

At the southern tip of Point Dume, there is a major, steeply dipping fault exposed.
This is the western edge of the Santa Monica Fault, a 40-km-long active fault extending east-west along the southern edge of the Santa Monica Mountains.
