Topic: Odd Striping in SPOT Image Orthorectification

I am in the process of orthorectifying a series of SPOT 4 Images (2.5m Pan) to a 1m Lidar-derived DEM. When performing the orthorectification, I see some very odd striping patterns in the image:

Orthorectified SPOT

The parts of the image without striping seem to be properly rectified, without too much warping, but having all of the striping in the image limits their usefulness. Is this an issue someone has seen before, or are there any ideas as to what could cause this to happen? I have never seen this issue in orthorectifying aerial photographs.

Thanks

Taylor

Re: Odd Striping in SPOT Image Orthorectification

that's due to a bug with the old version of COSI-Corr. Unfortunately, there are a lot of bug correction we haven't yet released as most of our COSI-Corr funding did not receive funding approval from NSF.

Is the bug exclusive to SPOT imagery?

Re: Odd Striping in SPOT Image Orthorectification

It's specific to strong incidence angle and rough topography scenes.
